Thank you for your interest in participating as a food vendor at the 15th annual Bushy Run Car Cruise!

Now in its annual tradition, the Bushy Run Car Cruise brings together hundreds of car enthusiasts, families, and members of the local community for an afternoon of cars, food, and fun at Bushy Run Battlefield. We typically expect 750–1,000 guests in addition to 150-300 car cruise participants, depending on weather and other conditions.

For 2026, Bushy Run Battlefield is introducing food trucks and mobile food vendors as a new component of the Car Cruise. As this is our first year offering food trucks rather than traditional event concessions, there is no vendor application or participation fee for 2026.

Because space and visitor demand are limited, food vendors will be selected based on the overall needs of the event and the variety of food options available. Submitting an application does not guarantee participation. Vendors will be contacted after applications have been reviewed regarding their acceptance and event details.

Bushy Run Battlefield Will Provide

• A designated space for your food truck or mobile food setup.

• Promotion of participating food vendors through Bushy Run Battlefield's event marketing, as appropriate.

• Inclusion of your business name and information in event-related promotional materials when space and timing permit.

• Access to trash and recycling receptacles located throughout the event grounds.

• A large community event with an expected attendance of approximately 750–1,000 guests.

  
  

Food Vendors Are Responsible For

Each vendor is responsible for providing all equipment, supplies, personnel, and permits necessary to operate their food service safely and legally, including:

• Food truck, trailer, tent, or other approved mobile food setup.

• All food, beverages, ingredients, and serving supplies.

• Tables, chairs, tents, and other equipment necessary for your operation.

• Generators or other power sources, if required.

• Electrical cords and related equipment, if applicable.

• Extension cords and other equipment must be properly rated and secured so that they do not create a hazard to visitors, staff, or other vendors.

• Trash bags and other supplies necessary to keep your immediate area clean.

• Ice, coolers, refrigeration, or other temperature-control equipment as required.

• Bags, containers, napkins, utensils, and other materials needed for customer service.

• All required Pennsylvania and local health department permits, licenses, and approvals.

• Any required insurance coverage and documentation.

• Sufficient staff to operate your booth or food truck throughout the event.

  
  

All food vendors must comply with all applicable Pennsylvania and local health department regulations and food safety requirements.

Insurance

Participating vendors may be required to provide a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society as an additional insured.

Additional insurance requirements, if applicable, will be provided to vendors upon acceptance.

Set-Up and Event Schedule

Food vendors may begin setting up on the morning of the event at the time designated by Bushy Run Battlefield.

All food vendors must be fully set up and ready to serve before the event opens to the public at 12:00 p.m. We recommend arriving NO LATER THAN TWO HOURS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

Vendors should remain open and available for customers throughout the event and should not begin dismantling their setup until the conclusion of the Car Cruise, unless otherwise approved by Bushy Run Battlefield staff.

Specific arrival, parking, and setup instructions will be provided to accepted vendors prior to the event.

Rain Date

The scheduled rain date for the Car Cruise is Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Bushy Run Battlefield will communicate any decision to postpone the event due to weather as soon as reasonably possible. Vendors accepted for the September 19 event should be prepared to participate on the rain date if the event is postponed.

Additional Information

The Car Cruise will take place on the grounds of Bushy Run Battlefield State Park. Vendors are expected to maintain a clean, professional, and safe operating area throughout the event. Smoking is discouraged, but permitted in designated areas.

By submitting this application, I understand that:

• Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance as a food vendor.

• Bushy Run Battlefield reserves the right to select vendors based on available space, expected attendance, menu variety, and the overall needs of the event.

• There is no vendor application or participation fee for the 2026 Car Cruise.

• I am responsible for obtaining and maintaining all permits, licenses, insurance, and approvals required for my food service operation.

• I will comply with all applicable health, safety, and fire regulations.

• I will maintain a clean and safe area around my food truck or vendor space.

• I will follow all setup, parking, operating, and departure instructions provided by Bushy Run Battlefield staff.

• I understand that the event is subject to weather conditions and may be postponed to the designated rain date.
